About Islamic Tools Hub
Empowering Muslims worldwide with precise, private, and easy-to-use calculators for Zakat, Fitrana, Faraid, and more.
Who We Are & Our Mission
Welcome to the Islamic Tools Hub. We are a dedicated platform built with a singular mission: to simplify the fulfillment of essential Islamic obligations through modern technology. Navigating complex calculations for Zakat (almsgiving), Faraid (inheritance), Fitrana, and Qasr (traveler's prayer) can often be overwhelming, especially when relying on manual calculations or varying interpretations found online.
Our goal is to remove the friction from these critical religious duties. We believe that fulfilling obligations like Zakat and understanding complex rulings should be accessible to everyone, without needing a degree in Islamic finance or wading through confusing, ad-heavy interfaces. By providing beautiful, intuitive, and highly accurate tools, we aim to help the global Muslim community fulfill their obligations with confidence and peace of mind.
Our Methodology & Accuracy
Accuracy is the cornerstone of the Islamic Tools Hub. The algorithms powering our calculators are derived from established principles of classical Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh). We recognize that there are valid differences of opinion (Ikhtilaf) among the major schools of thought (Madhaahib).
Where applicable, our tools, such as the Zakat Calculator and the Qasr Prayer Calculator, provide options to select your preferred Madhab (e.g., Hanafi vs. Majority/Shafi'i). For example, our Faraid (Inheritance) Calculator adheres to the strict fractional allocations detailed in Surah An-Nisa, ensuring that every heir receives their divinely ordained share.
Our calculators for Zakat and Nisab Thresholds use the classical gold and silver weight standards (7.5 tola / 52.5 tola). You enter today's local metal prices so the cash threshold matches your market. We consult our methodology and standard Islamic texts, we strongly advise consulting a qualified, local scholar (Alim or Mufti) for complex or highly specific personal situations—particularly regarding contested inheritance disputes or specialized corporate Zakat.
A Privacy-First Approach
When you use financial calculators, you are entering highly sensitive data about your savings, investments, and debts. At Islamic Tools Hub, your privacy is our absolute highest priority.
We do not collect, store, or transmit your financial data to any server.
Our entire suite of calculators is built using client-side technology. This means that all calculations happen entirely within your device's web browser. Whether you are calculating millions in Zakat or checking your Faraid distribution, the moment you close the tab, the data disappears. We believe that spiritual tools should not come at the cost of your personal privacy, and we are committed to maintaining a strict no-tracking policy on your inputs.
